Recent Twitter Update

When logging onto Twitter.com from your computer, you might notice a slight change on profile pages. Twitter just rolled out user image galleries which display thumbnails of photos that have been shared by the user. When you click on the image gallery, it will display up to 100 of the users most recent images. Previously, Twitter relied on third party services, such as TwitPic and yFrog, to handle all image sharing. Twitter is hoping that by putting the galleries up on the site, it will attract more users to the site. Considering Twitter's need to monetize, this could be key to Twitter's future business plans, according to business professionals.

I think this is a great move for Twitter. Twitter is always reinventing their site and keeping up with the quick-changing social media game. What do you think Twitter will come up with next?
